Tell me if this is a good idea? 0

Question by : Tell me if this is a good idea?
Well, im in High School, i am graduating this year.
After High School, i want to immediately join a College or University, so start my Career, which im actually still thinking on it, but i think i will aim for Fashion Merchandise, since im in LOVE with Fashion and the Business life.
Im actually trying to work, at least a part-time job. But, my Mom doesn’t want me to, well she supports me to do good, and say’s it’s okay for her if i start working, but she mostly wants me to focus more in school, and since im about to graduate it doesn’t really matter. But, i actually want to work, as in to start saving some money on College/University. Because i do not want to relay on my Brothers especially not on my Mom. She did her part on raising me and now it’s my job of creating my future. So any ways. So, i want to work, and of course im going to be in College/University by then (hopefully!) and i was thinking on first getting a business diploma first, as in to be able to work in a bank or insurance place, which you actually make good money and will help me EVEN MORE in my career which i am going for Fashion Merchandise, so im going to have more experience on business.

Yea i know, may be confusing. But what do you think?

I think its a great idea to work. The more you save, the easer your retirement will be, and saving up to pay all those collage loans off, even on a part-time salary. It is never a bad idea to make more money. ;) As for school I think, if you have good grades, and you are consistently doing your work, a job should be as easy as pie for you.

I hope everything works out well for you. ^_^

Question by : What is a good Relay for Life fundraiser to do at the event?
This friday my basketball team is participating in the Relay for Life walk at our college. They will be holding it in our gym and this our first time doing this so we weren’t aware that we had to do a fundraiser at the site. We came up with little things but don’t think it would work. I need help and if you can try to make it basketball related that would be great. If not any help is appreciated.

OK if you have people in your team who are very good at spinning the ball on their fingertips then have the public place bets on who can do it the longest,
or you could do the same except get someone who is well known in the community to come and do free throws, and then get the public to pledge say $ 5 for every basket he scores, against your team, the well known guy should be able to pick a team to play with him, then you guys can like block him with your team, and his team can try and block your team. (I apologise for the very untechnical terms) so kinda like a mini game except with the public betting on who would a) win or b) score the most points out of the well known peoples team
Hope this helps :D
